My name is Erica Oaxaca and I am the Vice Principal at Loving Savior Lutheran School. I have worked at Loving Savior for the last twenty-seven years. I started as the Day Care Director when first hired. I taught mainly Kindergarten and First Grade before becoming an administrator and have since taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade in different capacities. I am the daughter of a 40 year + educator and am her namesake. My mom saved me those first years of being a new teacher and will always be grateful. My educational background includes studies in Diversified Education, Child Development and Reading where I received my B.A. and California Teacher Credential at the University of La Verne. I have furthered my education in Special Education and Administration. Covid delayed my graduation date immensely, but am set to be completed by 2025. I will be celebrating my 20th wedding anniversary in November. I have two beautiful sons, one 10 and one 11, that are my heart, my protectors, and my buddies. I love to read, watch movies with my family, attend church with my family, and cook/bake. Many nights and weekends, I will be found at the football field with my laptop, working, as I am watching my son practice or play football. We are a football family. I live by my faith every day and am thankful to the Lord for all my blessings.
